Billet Specialties replacement gas springs are now available in three charges; 325lbs, 400lbs, & 500lbs. 325lbs is standard and what is supplied in our billet hood hinge kits. For modified hoods that are heavier than stock, you can select from 400lbs or 500lbs. Caution must be used when using a higher charged spring than what is supplied with hinges.
Do not use with Fiber Glass or Carbon fiber hoods.
