Wheel Assembly

Assembly of 2- and 3-piece wheels. The Assembler will receive the required materials to assemble: rim shell and center for 2-piece; rim halves, center for 3-piece. The assembly is either by sweating and welding (2-piece); or bolted construction (3-piece). Wheel size ranges from 15" to 28" diameter rims, widths from 4" to 16".

Responsibilities

• Set-up and complete tasks per the work order

• Review your work and ensure it meets the customer requirements and department standards

• Closely follow documents assembly and test procedures

• Conduct basic troubleshooting of manufacturing issues and report to Supervisor

• Ensure team is meeting daily production requirements

• Inventory materials, parts and tools used in the assembly process

• Maintain the required tools to complete daily tasks

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is important to build wheels per order.

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

• Calibrate and use runout equipment
