CNC Machine Operator – Entry Level

Have the desire, ability, and capability to learn the safe operation of CNC lathes and mills. Basic knowledge and application of the following is a plus: mechanics, shop mathematics, engineering drawings, material properties, layout, and machining procedures. This is an "on the job" training position whereby you will be taught CNC Machine Tool Operation.

Responsibilities

Learn the following:

Lift stock to load feeding mechanism
Ensure efficiency in the machining process
Continuously implement quality checks using precision measuring equipment
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Etc.
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
Read and interpret drawings, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations

Qualifications

Minimum applicant age is 18 years old.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Good oral and written communication skills
Lift 35 lbs.
